Our approach

Coaching, kept human.

Short sessions, a coach who fits the way you think, and clear lines around what coaching can and cannot do.

The format

Why 23 minutes?

A short session asks for one question, not your whole life story. That focus is the point: you bring what matters this week, and you leave with something you can do about it.

Twenty-three minutes fits around a working day, so it is easier to keep coming back. If something needs more time, you pick it up again next session.

Our coaches

How coaches are chosen.

Every coach is set up by the Rhubarb team before they can take a booking. Each coach lists the areas they work on, the languages they speak and their way of working.

To be confirmed Our coach standards, including qualifications, supervision and background checks, will be published here before booking opens.

Matching

A coach who fits.

Your quiz answers set your focus and the way you like to work: direct, calm or practical. We put coaches who work on that area, in your language, at the top of your list.

You always choose your coach. If it does not feel right, you can choose someone else later.

Safety

What coaching is not.

Coaching helps you think, decide and act on everyday things in your life and work. It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice or a crisis service. A coach will not diagnose anything, and will not tell you what to do.

If you need help now

In an emergency, call 999. For urgent medical help, call NHS 111. To talk to someone at any time, call Samaritans free on 116 123.

Privacy

Between you and your coach.

Your sessions and messages are private to you and your coach. Your coach keeps session notes only if you agree, and you can change your mind. Calls are not recorded.

You can download your data or erase your account at any time. Read how we handle your data.
